Happy Fall Y'all!

I'm finally able to write those words, "Happy Fall!" as the temperature promises to dip below 70 this weekend! It's been a long and beautiful summer, with temperatures in the upper 80's and 90's since June. So, as we put out mums and pumpkins, in 90 degree weather, I've been a little less than enthusiastic! But, the weather man promises more seasonable temperatures on the way!

I'm so thankful for a successful and fun wedding season this year! I am so grateful to all of the beautiful young couples who chose to start their married life here on our farm! We could not ask for nicer people to work with and always feel like our family grows with each and every one!

I am looking forward to our first annual Bride's re-Sale and vendor event coming up on October 27, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. As with every "first event" we will learn a great deal and scramble around a bit to make sure everything goes to the very best of our ability! We have some wonderful vendors coming; Photographers, DJ's, Bakers, Local Artisans who make soap and candles and more. We will have a food concession stand that will serve hot dogs, chicken and noodles, pie, hot and cold cider, cookies, and more. And, we are launching our very own Lazy Daisy Gift Shop! We will be featuring wedding decor (Of Course!), and also some lovely gifts for Fall and Christmas. It's going to be a wonderful day!

We are also doing a Christmas Center Piece Make it and Take it event on Novermber 17 from 11:30-1:30. There's a modest cost to cover the price of materials. We will serve a light lunch and have a great time!

One of our local photographer's, Kara Beth Turner, is doing a photo shoot in the barn with Santa on December 9! That will be a great opportunity to have your child's picture taken with Santa and it will be a lot of fun!

There is so much going on! The calendar is filling with weddings for 2019! (Thank you!) And, we are having our first live band on May 4, 2019 for a Girls Night Out!
