Planting

Spring is in the air! Two days ago, we were able to open the windows and let fresh, warm air blow through our house! Ahhh! Wonderful! Of course, as winter holds on, we had to turn the furnace back on just yesterday. But, it won't be long until we can get outside and put some plants in the ground.

I have a new love...GARDENING. Randy and I purchased a "kitchen herbs starter kit" from a company that sells heirloom seeds. I'm so excited! They arrived yesterday and I plan to get them started in the house and then move them to planter boxes onto the deck as soon as it's warm enough. In the meantime, Randy has promised to teach me how to build planter boxes; we start this weekend...in the heated garage.

Enjoy the rest of winter. Take time to sip coffee, enjoy a good book, and map out your garden. Spring is coming!
